Chicago takes care of business in Orlando

Apostles traveled to Orlando for the Central FL Halloween Invite hosted by YCF (October 26-27). It was a strong tournament featuring 16 teams from the US, Caribbean, and South America. NYAC beat Miami Beach in the final with Valle de Colombia winning third. The Apostles finished 4-1 in 5 games for a 9th place finish. Unfortunately, our only loss was the first game of the tourney vs the host (YCF), which created a 3-way tie with YCF, SFWPC, and Us. Since the goal differential was the tiebreaker and we had a larger loss in the YCF game, we were sent to the 3rd bracker. Full recap below:

8am - YCF 11 - Apostles 3 (Playing with the former Romanian National Team goalie (6'6"))

4pm - Apostles 18 - Daytona 4

6pm - Apostles 15 - SFWPC (South Florida) 14 (OT Shootout)

Sunday:

8am - Apostles 11 - Caribbean All-Stars 9

2pm - Apostles 9 - Puerto Rico National Team 8
